December 9, 2007 Our Lady of Guadalupe Celebration

from Pittsburg to here to help us celebrate Our Lady of Guadalupe--all for free out of love for Mary!

Here are some images of the Matachine dancers and the 100 or so people from Independence

and Coffeyville who attended the 1:00pm Mass and pot-luck luncheon.

Picture of Sept. 1, 2007 Parish trip to Dr. George Tiller's Abortion Clinic in Wichita

12 of us joined the group and prayed at a modern day holocaust: 167 babies die there

on average every month; between 20 and 40 of which are 3rd trimester (7,8,9 months old!)

Then the bodies are burned on the North side of the building in an internal incinerator--modern day holocaust...

     Some News coming up...

  • Make sure to come to Generations of Faith (GOF).  It is vital that parents bring their children to share in this parish-wide approach to catechesis.  If you have something to share, have a suggestion, or a tip on improving GOF for a future session, let us know at the rectory.

  • Make sure to stay up-to-date on the latest Coffeyville Flood Information on http://www.coffeyvilleflood.com

  • Remember, the best way to keep up on all the current parish news is to read the weekly bulletin!
